Focus
When you focus all your power on one area you are concentrating your energy into one spot. Anyone who has seen a magnifying glass start a fire knows how powerful this process can be. To focus allows you to create things that perhaps you perceived were not previously possible. The power of focus is the correct application of your brain.
Scientists tell us that your short term memory can only hold between 5 and 9 chunks of attention. As more things are added others fall off. To utilise your resources effectively means making best use of the power of focusing. As you focus more you will get more of that thing. It could be more health or vitality or wealth. Focussing on the wrong thing could mean you get more disease, discomfort, poverty and boredom.
When the power of focus is used effectively it opens up the range of your possible actions and you need to ask “what do I really want?”. If you believe you could have or do anything, then what is a worthwhile use of your time and resources? What is the most important use of your most precious resource - the one resource that is indeed finite – your time? As you focus on the essential, the most important 20% of your world, then you will find the inessential fall away.
The trival, the boring and the waste of time will no longer appear because you are focused with the whole of your body, mind and spirit onto the essence of achievement.
